Truthfully, vinyl makes me stupidly happy. It reminds me of my childhood.
Though today, it’s “Come On Feel the Illinoise” by Sufjan Stevens.
I buy vinyl based mostly on one thing: if it’s something I would want specifically to watch spin around while listening. The music has to be a certain style: powerful but not overly loud or bombastic like some of the music I listen to. Which is why I own “Swoon” by Silversun Pickups, but hardly listen to most of it on the turntable.
