I’m not into Valentines’ Day because I don’t feel someone buying me flowers or taking me to dinner because they think they have to is romantic. But then, I’m not big on those things anyway.

It’s telling that I’m making plans for a weekend of #CHSH in April before plans for a week and a half on vacation in Alabama in March.
Of course, I’ve done the Alabama trip a couple times, and I’m not in charge of setting up where we’re staying.
But still. :)

Commercialization has never especially bothered me. People need to make money, and people are more than happy to buy things for their someones for Valentine’s Day. It’s good to do things once in a while for a special day.

Tea and biscuits are yummy.
Being more than half Scottish, and thus British, I am sippin a nice Earl Grey with a pinch of milk in it.
Being raised by southern parents, my tea has sugar in it. I’m a sweet tea guy.

I compulsively love underdogs.
I am a Cleveland Indians fan. I prefer Daffy Duck to Bugs Bunny. I love Gonzo the Great (although Kermit is definitely made of awesome). I STILL love President Obama. I use and love Apple products BESIDES the iPhone and iPod. I actually enjoy Return of the Jedi, Ewoks and all.
This also means I often don’t like what is generally popular.
